Cisco Unified CCX 8.5.1 for Cisco UCM8.6.2 installation on vmware Worstation 9.0



On AMD 8 CORE processor PC>install windows 7 Enterprise x64 Edition with SP1> install vmware workstation 9.0 configure new>custom>hardware compatability: workstation 9.0>I will install the operating system later>linux >version: Red Hat enterprise linux 5 >virtual machine name: >processor:1 and number of core:8 >RAM: 4GB>use bridged networking > I/0 Adapter types LSIlogic >create a new virtual disk>virtual disk type: SCSI>Hard disk must be 146GB >split virtual disk into multiple files >edit virtual machine settings: CD/DVD(IDE):Select”Use Physical drive-auto detect: Insert CD/DVD into the CD/DVD ROM.
Click: Power on this virtual machine:

IP address: 192.168.64.14
Mask:        255.255.255.0
Default g-w: 192.168.64.254
Userid: administrator
Pwd: Cisco1234!
Timezone:Ameriaca/Toronto

Choose Deployment Type for the Unified Contact Center Express
Select: Cisco Unified Communication Manager

Follow the screen ….

Cisco Unified CCX Administrator Setup
Select Fresh Install , click next

Unified CM server hostname or IP address: 192.168.64.11
AXL user ID:       administrator      
AXL User Password:     Cisco1234!
Click next
Note: Create uccxadmin end user in the UCM Publisher server before you start configuring the UCCX.
License File:  Browse and point to license .lic file’(Note: browse the original UCCX85 DVD and select ccx85_enh_demo.lic from  the demolicense), open and click next, validation completed, click next for activation, click next
Userprefix: uccx (on UCM , it will create uccx_1 application user automatically on the UCM Publisher)
Pwd:_________
UserID: rmuser (on UCM , it will create rmuser application user automatically on the UCM Publisher)

Pwd:______
Click next
Number of HR session licenses: 6
Recording Count: 10,   codec: G711 , click Next

IVR Language config: select en_CA (Country specific and group default), click next

User config:
Select uccxadmin for Cisco Unified CCX Administrator

Click finish
Close the Browser and open new browser

Now userid: uccxadmin for Cisco Unified CCX administrator option (no more administrator)

 (Note: uccx851 is only for 30 days demo, pls verify the license info, if license is none, and reinstall it from the fresh install)

https://192.168.64.14/appadmin, select Cisco Unified serviceability to activate all services
username: administrator

Restart all services
https://192.168.64.14/appadmin, select Cisco Unified CCX serviceability
userid: uccxadmin

Note: if uccxadmin does not work , use : administrator, pwd:Cisco1234!
